Audio taken from my live YouTube performance which can be viewed here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FJHapbRtvI. This is being released as a charity single with all money made throughout June, July and August 2013 going directly to the homeless charity Crisis (www.crisis.org.uk), so please donate generously when purchasing the track, and most importantly, please just take a sec to share the video on Facebook/Twitter or whatever social media site you're on to help promote the cause.
About the piece: Written a few years back whilst I was reading the Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins, this piece basically sums up my feelings on waking up to the reality of existence. Read the description on my YouTube video where I actually explain what I'm on about...
Can't say enough about how good this album is! One of the few releases that will find enjoyment from both the jazzheads and post-rockers alike. I can read with it in the background or intensely focus on the twists and turns that the music takes. More of this please. ryan linderman
From the beautiful South-Serbian town of Niš - one of my favorite ones in South-East Europe - comes this band with its quite idiosycratic blend of jazz and post-rock, yielding a unique contribution to the fusion genre. Mainly based on Dejan Ilijić's terrific piano chords, the tunes on this album incorporate extensive post-rock textures, as well as odd time signatures typical for Balkan folk music. Sven B. Schreiber
